NEERI to host global water meeting

NAGPUR, India — Participants from 27 countries will address water safety and household treatment in Asia and Africa.

NAGPUR, India — The National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI) will host a global meeting on water starting on Nov. 14, according to an article by Business Standard.

The meeting, organized with the World Health Organization, UNICEF and The Water Institute at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, will include around 120 participants from 27 countries, the article reported.

According to the article, the workshop's goal is to address water quality and health primarily in Asian and African countries through active engagement in water safety planning (WSP) and household treatment and safe storage (HWTS) efforts.
