New report supports growth for AC markets

SAN JOSE, Calif. – Among the significant drivers for promised growth in the U.S. is mercury control regulations.

SAN JOSE, Calif. – According to a press release on PRWeb.com, a new comprehensive global report on Activated Carbon markets by Global Industry Analysts (GIA) notes that mercury removal and clean water regulations will help drive growth in the global activated carbon markets.  

According to the release, Activated Carbon’s global market is “projected to reach 1.87 million metric tons by 2018, driven by stringent environmental regulations, especially in the United States.”

Among the significant drivers for promised growth in the U.S. is mercury control regulations, added the release.

The release also added that the Asia-Pacific region represents the largest market worldwide as a result of growing population, increased urbanization and robust pace of industrialization.
