WESTERVILLE, Ohio — The National Ground Water Research and Educational Foundation (NGWREF) announced that four projects in the Philippines, Haiti, Malawi and Uganda will receive a total of $40,000 to help populations have access to safe drinking water, according to a press release.
The NGWREF Developing Nations Fund provides small assistance grants to benefit the quality of life for people around the world in developing economies without access to ample supplies of potable groundwater, stated the release.
The grant award recipients include: Engineers Without Borders USA — Philadelphia Professional Chapter, Haiti Mission Inc., Mzuzu University Centre of Excellence in Water and Sanitation and Hope 2 One Life Inc.
