WALNUT CREEK, Calif. — Brown and Caldwell (BC) is one of 47 organizations to receive the 2014 Industry Leader Award.

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. — Brown and Caldwell (BC) has been recognized by the National Safety Council (NSC) as an industry leader in safety, for the third consecutive year, according to a press release.

BC received NSC’s 2014 Industry Leader Award, which recognizes member companies that demonstrate the utmost level of safety performance, stated the release.

The Industry Leader Award distinguishes the top five percent of member companies, units and facilities that qualified for the 2014 Occupational Excellence Achievement Award based on data from the 2013 calendar year, and only 47 companies of more than 49,000 NSC member organizations earned this year’s award, continued the release.

"Brown and Caldwell is extremely proud of our successful, longstanding health and safety initiatives,” said BC President James R. Miller. "The company’s strong commitment to safe work environments is part of our corporate culture, [which] begins with the dedication of each local health and safety team and extends to the support of all employees and senior management.”
