NSF’s Bartley appointed to MI-AWWA Board of Trustees

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Bartley is the current technical manager of NSF International’s Global Water Division and has 28 years of experience in water quality research, testing and standards development.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Bruce Bartley, technical manager of NSF International’s Global Water Division, has been appointed to The American Water Works Association’s Michigan Section’s (MI-AWWA) Board of Trustees, according to a press release.

Bartley has served as co-chair of the MI-AWWA Research and Technical Practices Committee for six years and has 28 years of experience in water quality research, testing and standards development, according to the release.

“We are very pleased to welcome Bruce Bartley to our Board of Trustees and value the expertise he and NSF International bring to the water management and treatment industry,” said Thomas Smith, the present Chair of the MI-AWWA Board.

With his experience overseeing NSF’s Public Drinking Water Equipment Performance Certification Program and managing an 18-year joint program — the Environmental Technology Verification Drinking Water Systems Center — with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), continued the release, Bartley will work to promote a safe, adequate and reliable supply of drinking water and support regulations protecting public health in his work with MI-AWWA.
