SAN FRANCISCO — Former U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) administrator William K. Reilly will deliver the keynote presentation.

SAN FRANCISCO — The U.S. Water Alliance (USWA) will host the sixth One Water Leadership Summit 2015 Aug. 26-28, according to a press release.

The event "seeks to drive the notion of water as an integrating strategy for the urban environment," noted the release. Regulators, water leaders, sustainability directors, business leaders, nonprofits, and transportation, parks and recreation officials will discuss water sustainability in U.S. communities.

"The U.S. Water Alliance’s One Water Leadership Summit is one of those truly unique conferences where individuals can expand their understanding of the ‘one water management concept’ both by the content of the program, but more importantly by the networking opportunities with the thought leaders in our industry," said USWA board member and Greely and Hansen Chairman and CEO Andrew W. Richardson in the release. "I cannot think of anywhere else where you have such a huge cross-section of the industry in one location at one time discussing such critical topics."

The Summit promotes collaboration between communities to produce greater results with multi-benefit projects, stated the release. Attendees can take part in panel discussions, One Water Future Talks and Strategic Sidebar Conversations.

Presenters include the city of San Diego and DC Water, shared the release. Former U.S. Environmental Protection Agency administrator William K. Reilly will deliver the keynote presentation. A presentation will also cover the concept of the value of water.

Sponsors are CDM Smith, Corvias Solutions, Xylem, AECOM, Black & Veatch, Burns & McDonnell, MWH Global and Velia, reported the release. The Alliance for Water Efficiency, American Rivers, National Association of Water Companies, National Association of Clean Water Agencies, the Freshwater Trust, World Wildlife Fund and the Pacific Institute are supporting partners. San Francisco Water Power and Sewer Authority is the host sponsor.
