Passavant-Roediger awarded two European wastewater contracts

FRANKFURT — The contracts in Romania and Turkey total over $41 million.

FRANKFURT — Passavant-Roediger GmbH, a German subsidiary of Drake & Scull International (DSI) PJSC, has been awarded two large water treatment plant projects in Romania and Turkey, according to an article on AlBawaba.

The two contracts are worth AED $152 million ($41,383,064), the article reported.

The Romanian contract will involve engineering, construction and commissioning for extending and modernizing the wastewater treatment plants in Campina and Plopeni, the article reported.

The contract in Turkey is for the development of an activated sludge plant in the city of Adiyaman, according to the article.

"As both Romania and Turkey are critical to our expansion plans in the EU, we will apply our expertise into meeting the specific requirements of both these projects," said Dr. Mazen Bachir, managing director at Passavant-Roediger.
