SAN DIEGO — The Wishing Well International Foundation is proud to inform you that a group of members of the Pacific Water Quality Association (PWQA) has decided to support the Foundation during their 2012 Fishing Fools Fishing tournament, according to a press release.

The tournament is held yearly after the PWQA annual convention as a way for long-time members to bond and exchange fishing stories, as well as to discuss business opportunities.

Mike Baird, organizer of the tournament, announced earlier in the summer that part of the proceeds collected from the tournament will go to support the efforts of the Foundation, noted the release.

The Fishing Fools Fishing Tournament 2012 will start Friday, Oct. 12 and run through Sunday, Oct.14. Leaving from San Diego, Calif., the anglers will fish for two solid days, with prizes for the most fish and biggest fish, amongst others, stated the release.

“There has been no commitment from the tournament organizers as to the amount of money to be donated to the Foundation; however, in my view, the amount is irrelevant compared to the value of the awareness these great bunch of guys are creating and bringing to the table. I am looking forward to the tournament and should I be so lucky to win a prize, it will be donated to the Foundation," said Guillermo Guzman, founder of WWIF.
