PWQA announces scholarship program

TUSTIN, Calif. — Applications for the “Pacific Water Quality Association (PWQA) Member Company Scholarship” are due by April 1.

TUSTIN, Calif. — The Pacific Water Quality Association (PWQA) announced it will award a $1,000 scholarship to an individual employed or related to someone who is employed by a PWQA member company, according to information provided by PWQA.

The PWQA member company must be in good standing, “which is defined as a member company current on membership dues.”

To be eligible, applicants must provide: Proof of current admission or entry acceptance to a trade school, two- or four-year institution; submit an essay (up to 500 words); and provide high school, and any college, transcripts.

The application must be signed and completed to be accepted, and letter(s) of recommendation from a teacher, employer, etc., are strongly encouraged.

Applications for the “PWQA Member Company Scholarship” are due by April 1.
