A new suite of software solutions from GE uses the Predix™ operating system to address aging infrastructure, manpower constraints, water conservation and other challenges. In collaboration with American Water and MWH Global (now part of Stantec), the software addresses pipeline health, storm and sewer management, and water plant efficiency. The company’s SaaS proof of concept digitally maps total pipeline health and provides proactive risk identification. Additional software will utilize level sensors and mapping to enable faster reactive maintenance and increased proactive maintenance to reduce overflow frequency and number. GE’s InSight™ asset performance management solution optimizes water treatment plant assets and operations.
