Easy-to-install skid filters
Developed by The Dow Chemical Company, TEQUATIC™ PLUS Filters and skids offer a reliable, self-cleaning solution for removing extremely high and variable solids from fluid streams. The B-Series Skid now features “out of the box” installation and startup. Easy serviceability helps further reduce labor costs, and a quiet operation minimizes noise pollution. The B-Series Skid features a scalable modular configuration that allows each skid to connect in parallel to a common feed manifold to meet required flow rate. In addition, an integrated control system runs, monitors and logs essential parameters and a touch screen interface allows for customization of timers and set points to any industrial setting.
Hydro International has acquired the assets of M2 Renewables Inc., expanding its range of water treatment technologies to incorporate the M2R® MicroScreen™ rotating belt screening system. The technology continuously filters settleable material out of water at a very fine level without clogging, which makes it suitable for a variety of municipal and industrial water treatment applications. The system delivers improved biological oxidation efficiency at a reduced cost and footprint, changing the character of waste and industrial process water at the initial stage of the treatment train.
Spiral Water Technologies Inc. now offers two high-solids water filtration skids with its next generation Model 810 automatic, self-cleaning filter. The FS1 and FS2 skids - with one and two Model 810 filters respectively - have been designed to address the problem of high and variable suspended solids removal. Delivering flows of up to either 75 or 150 gallons per minute, the FS1 and FS2 Skids remove ultra-high and variable TSS of up to 25,000 mg/L, as well as oil and grease, in just one pass. The skids include an epoxy-coated steel support frame, pipe manifolds, and programmable electronics to control filter performance and purge timing.
Neptune Benson has enhanced its Defender Regenerative Media Filters. Each Defender now includes a new, intuitive graphic interface for controlling and monitoring all operating functions. The new Defender RMF System Controller displays data through a 7” high-resolution LCD and offers simple push-button operation paired with on-screen LCD menus. Further, it provides remote monitoring, email notifications of condition changes, and remote control of system operations. It also continually logs data, providing detailed information on water pressure stats, bump schedule, purge, and more.
The AquaDisk® cloth media filter from Aqua-Aerobic is an economical and efficient option for the treatment of stormwater at various plants and remote locations. The OptiFiber® cloth filtration media is engineered to accommodate varying flows and characteristics of stormwater. The filter media provides considerably lower effluent TSS without the use of chemicals and is mechanically designed to handle grit and scum. Advantages include: effective TSS removal, a low-energy backwash system, and no complicated start-up with easy building enclosure.
Rosedale Products’ basket strainers and bag filters offer a wide range of flow capacities and contaminant-holding capabilities. They contain from 2 to 23 baskets. To serve as a strainer, a unit is ordered with perforated stainless steel baskets (mesh-lined if desired). When ordered as a filter, it’s fitted with perforated stainless steel baskets designed to hold disposable or cleanable filter bags. The standard pressure rating for all models is 150 psi. All housings can be supplied with an ASME code stamp, if required.
The Cembrane technology from RODI Systems Corp. provides high flux, low fouling, oil resistance, long life and tolerance to pH and temperature extremes. It is chemically inert, oleophobic and has a low pH isoelectric point. These characteristics make Cembrane an ideal choice even for the most challenging applications such as high TSS and temperature/pH extremes.
