EDINA, Minn. — In acknowledgement of World Water Day, Sat. March 22, Dow Water & Process Solutions has released a new infographic illustrating how shale oil and gas can be tapped through sustainable water management, according to a press release.

The infographic ties into the World Water Day Theme of "Water and Energy," noted the release, as hydraulic fracturing and water management is at the frontline of the water-energy nexus.

Dow invites anyone to link this infographic on their website or via social media channels in honor of World Water Day, reported the release, or they will send the original file for publication.

A recent white paper by Dow titled "New Sustainable Challenge: Water Management in Unconventional Shale Oil & Gas Operations," can also provide more information on the subject, continued the release.
