ALEXANDRIA, Va. — WateReuse Association’s webcast, taking place Feb. 5 from 1 to 2 p.m. EST (10 to 11 a.m. PST), will cover the latest information on federal legislative and policy issues regarding the water reuse community.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The WateReuse Association announced plans for an upcoming webcast, “Federal Water Policy and Legislative Outlook for 2015,” scheduled to take place Feb. 5 from 1 to 2 p.m. EST (10 to 11 a.m. PST), according to a press release.

The webcast will cover the latest information on federal legislative and policy issues regarding the water reuse community, stated the release.

The presenters for the webcast, reported the release, will discuss prospects for legislation concerning changes to important federal water laws, including the Endangered Species Act and the Clean Water Act.

The release continued that the webcast will also address other important current issues such as the drought impacting Western regions as well as “strategies for creating and implementing innovative federal water infrastructure funding and financing programs that could help implement water reuse, recycling and desalination projects.”

Presenters for WateReuse Association’s webcast include: Melissa L. Meeker, executive director of the WateReuse Association and Research Foundation; Gary Darling, chair of the WateReuse National Legislative Committee and general manager at Delta Diablo; and Mark Limbaugh, managing partner at The Ferguson Group in Washington, D.C., noted the release.
