ALEXANDRA, Va. — The Water Environment Federation (WEF) announced that registration is now open for the next installation of WEF’s Great Water Cities dialog series, the Great Water Cities 2015: Collaborating for a Resilient Future, according to a press release.

Organized with Greater New Orleans Inc. and the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans, the summit will take place July 21-22 at the Tulane University Lavin-Bernick Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, stated the release.

This year’s event will build upon last year’s meeting in Chicago, reported the release, which featured a diverse group of global leaders who gathered to examine and discuss their experiences “in hopes of changing the agenda for other communities facing similar water challenges.”

The release continued that the 2015 summit, sponsored by Greeley and Hansen, will focus on topics related to managing water in extreme conditions, workforce development and economics, innovation and investment, and collaboration.

“Attendees are invited to arrive in New Orleans on July 21 for an afternoon tour of key water facilities followed by a welcome reception,” noted the release. “The formal programming will begin the following day and will include expert panel discussions, structured networking sessions, a luncheon and peer-to-peer connections.”
