Registration opens for AWWA Water Infrastructure Conference

DENVER — The American Water Works Association (AWWA) has announced that registration is open for the new Water Infrastructure Conference, according to a press release.

The conference will take place Oct. 26-29 in Atlanta, Ga., noted the release, and will be co-hosted by the AWWA Georgia section.

Attendees, presenters and exhibitors will come together for four days to discuss essential water infrastructure planning, reinvestment strategies, critical infrastructure protection through emergency preparedness planning and the application of heightened physical security and cybersecurity measures, the release reported.

Focused on solutions for water utility asset and infrastructure challenges, continued the release, this conference includes thought-provoking opening sessions, a comprehensive technical program, exhibit hall and tours of local water facilities.

According to the release, the technical program includes five tracks: Water Infrastructure Management, Asset Management Programs, Practical Applications for Pipeline Management, Technology and Modeling in the Water Sector and Emergency Preparedness and Security Issues.
