Rounding out our content offerings

Dec. 1, 2013

In 2013, we started including print articles impacting many areas of water quality.

Regular readers of Water Technology know that our monthly print publication has traditionally focused on point-of-use (POU) and point-of-entry (POE) equipment for residential and light commercial applications. POU and POE issues, including treatment, technical, business and other related articles, will continue to be our primary focus. In recent months, however, we have been able to include some insight into the municipal and industrial water treatment markets, as well as other sectors where water and water quality are important, in the pages of this magazine.

Our website — WaterTechOnline.com — is an extension of our print publication. Over the years and ahead of the curve, this website has traditionally included news and information regarding virtually any industry where water is important. Most of the information found on our website is free and may require a registration or subscription.

For example, our WaterTech e-News Daily, which is a compilation of the day’s top news headlines as well as in-depth articles, is emailed every business day to over 18,000 water treatment professionals. And, all that is required is a free subscription. Also on our website, water treatment professionals can find online exclusive articles, podcast interviews with water leaders, special newsletters and much more.

Why do we feel the need to produce all of this content? Simply, because you have asked for it and the water trends impacting this world are too prominent to ignore with a stagnant website and print publication. We are constantly changing to meet your evolving needs and this month is a perfect example.

Included in this issue are several articles that are purposely outside of the scope of traditional residential and light commercial POU and POE.

This growing interest and reader feedback is why we continue to offer these articles. You will notice several of these types of articles in this issue and continuing forward into 2014.

We hope everyone had a profitable 2013 and are poised for growth in the coming year. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year.
