SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Housing Authority (SAHA) purchased Scalewatcher North America’s patented and award-winning, computerized electronic water conditioner after a successful four-month trial at the Woodhill Apartments, according to a press release.

SAHA is saving thousands of dollars a year at the apartments following the installation of the Scalewatcher water conditioner, and has kept the four boilers free of scale, stated the release.

Through its public housing, Section 8 housing choice voucher and mixed-income housing programs, SAHA provides housing assistance to more than 70,000 people, continued the release.

The release reported that SAHA owns and manages 71 properties with 6,254 units.

SAHA selected Woodhill apartments for the installation because of the complex’s history of domestic hot water boiler failure due to scaling, noted the release.
