Santa Clara Valley Water District wins WateReuse Project of the Year Award

DALLAS — The WateReuse Association’s Project of the Year Award recognizes noteworthy projects that continue to advance the water reuse industry through contributions to the community.

DALLAS — The Santa Clara Valley Water District received the Project of the Year Award from the WateReuse Association at its annual national symposium in Dallas, according to a press release.

Santa Clara Valley Water District was recognized for the completion of its new water recycling facility, the Silicon Valley Advanced Water Purification Center in Northern San José, continued the release.

The water recycling facility produces up to 8 million gallons a day of highly purified water and is the largest facility of its kind in Northern California, noted the release.
