Silicon Valley company joins ISA

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — Bedrock Automation has joined the ISA Security Compliance Institute, according to a press release, showing its support for the ISASecure® Cyber Security Conformance Scheme.

Bedrock’s technology uses an electromagnetic backplane architecture and deeply embedded cyber security, noted the release. It is designed to use patented communication and silicon technologies to offer power and flexibility.

"Bedrock is looking forward to engaging actively in ISASecure’s efforts to provide security best practices and compliance to automation," said Albert Rooyakkers, Bedrock CTO, VP engineering, in the release.

The Bedrock platform includes redundant controllers that run an SIL-certified RTOS, redundant smart power supplies and single/dual/triple I/O, stated the release. The solution allows 24/7 protection.

The company supports applications and security, reported the release.

"Bedrock’s control system represents the future paradigm for cyber security," stated Andre Ristaino, ISCI managing director, in the release. "We are pleased to include Bedrock as a new supporter of ISASecure and look forward to certifying this exciting new control system."
