SURREY, BC — Singer Valve, manufacturer of control valves, has added Carlos Garcia and Clinton Smith as account sales managers to its international sales team, according to a press release.

“We are very fortunate to be adding such qualified candidates to our sales team and thereby adding another layer of support and service to our reps and distributors” said Jody Malo, international sales manager for Singer Valve.

Garcia is responsible for southwest U.S. and Latin/South America and Smith is responsible for Canada, northwest U.S., Alaska and Hawaii, noted the release.

Garcia brings 20 years of water works experience to Singer Valve. His experience extends to building distributor relationships, gaining product acceptance and specification approvals as well as creating training programs to educate distributors, end users and municipalities. As a long standing member of AWWA, Garcia has strong industry relationships. He is stationed in and working out of San Diego, California.

Smith has worked with Singer Valve in the packaged systems division since 2005 where he managed all aspects of design, assembly and installation for customers across North America. With this expertise, he brings an extensive knowledge of waterworks equipment and existing relationships with many distributors. Smith will participate in training of Singer reps and build sales initiatives in his region to continue growth of this market place. He is stationed in and working out of Surrey, British Columbia.
