MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — Locus Technologies announced San Jose Water Company (SJWC) has selected Locus for its environmental information management system, according to a press release.

Locus is an environmental and sustainability software company supplying standard and configurable cloud-based solutions for companies to validate, organize, visualize, analyze and report data for environmental compliance and sustainability, stated the release.

The release reported that SJWC is deploying the Locus EIM SaaS-based (software as a service) software to consolidate and manage water compliance and water quality data, environmental compliance and environmental data, and field data collection.

The Locus EIM will also be utilized to manage SJWC’s environmental permits for all of its facilities and sites, continued the release.

"Locus and its EIM software are giving us, for the first time, the ability to consolidate and access critical information on data related to water quality and environmental compliance in a single repository based on a cloud platform. This comprehensive view of our water system will help us to comprehensively manage all data related to drinking water and environmental compliance, and as a result, bring higher efficiency to our organization."
