South Florida Water Management District awards contract to construct pump station

NORWALK, Conn. — Harry Pepper & Associates, a subsidiary of EMCOR Group Inc., will be responsible for all aspects of construction for the pump station.

NORWALK, Conn. — Harry Pepper & Associates, a subsidiary of EMCOR Group Inc., was awarded a contract by the South Florida Water Management District to construct a pump station for its Reservoir and Storm Water Treatment Area Project located in Martin County, Florida, according to a press release.

Harry Pepper & Associates will be responsible for all aspects of construction for the pump station, including the installation of all electrical, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) as well as communications and instrumentation systems, reported the release.

The company will also be responsible for the installation of an overhead bridge crane, potable and cooling water systems, a dewatering and reinforced concrete structure and four discharge pumps, noted the release.
