Turbomachinery & Pump Symposia offers exhibition and continuing education opportunities

Aug. 25, 2018

At TPS 2018, attendees and exhibitors will exchange ideas on turbomachinery and pumps for the oil and gas, petrochemical, power, aerospace, chemical and water industries.

At the 47th Turbomachinery and 34th International Pump Users Symposia (TPS 2018) September 18-20, attendees and exhibitors will exchange ideas on turbomachinery and pumps for the oil and gas, petrochemical, power, aerospace, chemical and water industries.

Held at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston and hosted by the Turbomachinery Lab at Texas A&M University in College Station, the event offers a forum for rotating equipment engineers and technicians worldwide to connect through a technical program and an exhibition.

Technical program

The TPS technical program is selected by advisory committees made up of leaders in the turbomachinery and pump communities and led by practitioners in their fields. Topics cover maintenance, reliability, troubleshooting, instruction on emerging designs, technology and best practices. The program consists of lectures, tutorials, case studies, discussion groups and short courses.

Exhibition

At the center of TPS is an exhibit hall that hosts international companies. TPS 2017 was a record-breaking year with 89 new companies and 359 total exhibiting companies. The exhibit hall spanned 216,600 gross square feet. This year, companies and industry experts from across the globe will demonstrate their full-size equipment, technology and products, while sharing insights on current practices and future trends.
