Two CH2M projects receive ACEC 2015 Engineering Excellence Awards

DENVER — The award recipients were honored at American Council of Engineering Companies’ (ACEC) 49th annual Engineering Excellence Awards Gala held in Washington, D.C.

DENVER — CH2M announced two of the firm’s projects, the Agua Nueva Water Reclamation Facility and the Wilson Creak Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant, were among 170 engineering projects throughout the U.S. and around the world recognized with the 2015 Engineering Excellence Awards by the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), according to a press release.

The award recipients were honored at ACEC’s 49th annual Engineering Excellence Awards Gala held in Washington, D.C., on April 21, stated the release.

Projects were selected based on criteria for originality as well as for technical, economic and social value, continued the release.

The Agua Nueva Water Reclamation Facility received an ACEC Honor Award, reported the release, and CH2M, which was responsible for project delivery and construction, operates and maintains the $172 million facility.

CH2M also earned a Merit Award for designing improvements to the Wilson Creek Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant, noted the release.
