CLEVELAND — The agenda has been set for the inaugural Water Finance Conference, according to a press release.

The conference is scheduled to take place Sept. 1-2 in Cleveland, Ohio, at the Great Lakes Science Center, stated the release.

Those who attend the conference will learn innovative strategies for funding, stormwater and wastewater infrastructure with ample networking opportunities through interactive breaks, panel discussions and a reception, reported the release.

UIM: Water Utility Infrastructure Management, a journal of finance and management for water and wastewater professionals, will host the event and provide Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) upon successful completion of the conference, continued the release.

The agenda will feature panel discussions and presentations focused on three main topic areas: private financing and private capital investment for public utilities, rate setting and affordability, and trends in public utility financing, informed the release.

The conference is targeted toward municipal finance directors and water district chief financial officers (CFOs) in stormwater, wastewater and water in those three featured areas of discussion, noted the release.
