Valves and fittings innovations showcased at Valve World Expo 2018

At the 11th International Valve Trade Fair & Conference, on Nov. 27-29 in Düsseldorf, Germany, 650 exhibitors across 40 countries gathered to show the latest technology and systems for industrial valves, fittings and pumps. Solutions at the conference focused on the oil and gas, petrochemicals, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals and water/wastewater management industries. Valve World Americas Expo and Conference will be on June 19-20, 2019, at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas, and the next Valve World Expo will be on Dec. 1-3, 2020, in Düsseldorf, Germany. 

Mueller Water Products acquires Krausz Industries for $140M

Mueller Water Products  acquired Krausz Industries Ltd., a manufacturer of pipe couplings, grips and clamps, for $140 million. Krausz produces couplings, grips and clamps under the HYMAX brand for the global water and wastewater industries. Krausz is headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel, with distribution facilities in the U.S. and 300 employees. The company had approximately $43 million net sales in 2017 with about 75 percent of its sales generated in North America. Once the deal is closed, Krausz Industries will become part of Mueller Water Products’ Infrastructure segment. The transaction is expected to close in December 2018.

Enpro Inc. becomes industrial partner for NETZSCH Pumps

NETZSCH Pumps, a manufacturer of progressing cavity pumps, rotary lobe pumps and multiple screw pumps, signed Enpro Inc. in Addison, Illinois, as the NETZSCH Industrial Representative for Missouri, Kansas and Southern Illinois for progressing cavity pumps, rotary lobe pumps and grinders. Enpro has been a distributor for 55 years, with experience in the mining, food and beverage, pulp and paper, chemicals and biopharma industries.
