Veolia North America water reclamation facility recognized for safety

The Monterey Bay section of the California Water Environment Association (CWEA) awarded the Hollister Water Reclamation Facility, operated by Veolia North America, with the Safety Plant of the Year Award for its commitment to ensuring the plant is operated safely for employees and the community. The award is part of the CWEA’s annual effort to recognize public water and wastewater facilities for performance. The Hollister plant is now eligible to win the statewide safety award at the CWEA’s annual awards conference in April.

SPX FLOW appoints new distributor in New England

SPX FLOW appointed Lighthouse Process as its new distributor in New England territories for its Waukesha Cherry-Burrell, APV components and Seital Separation product lines. Lighthouse Process will work with customers in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. It will hold inventory at its facility in Franklin, Massachusetts, to enable rapid deliveries of critical SPX FLOW spares and products into the dairy, food and beverage processing market.

Krohne wins state Economic Impact Award

Krohne Inc. was one of 15 Massachusetts firms named a winner of the MassEcon Impact Awards, which recognize companies for their contributions to the Massachusetts economy. Winners were selected on the basis of job growth, facility expansion, investment and community involvement since Jan. 1, 2017. Krohne was recognized for its recent $25.5 million expansion into a new manufacturing, calibration and headquarters facility, which added 54,000 square feet and 13 jobs.
