ROCKFORD, Ill. — Enviro-Care Company, a headworks company, supplies screening and solids/grit management equipment to the wastewater industry.

ROCKFORD, Ill. — Enviro-Care Company has been acquired by the WAMGROUP®, with headquarters in Modena, Italy, according to a press release.

First entering into the conveying market in 1969, WAMGROUP, a multinational company, quickly expanded into all “facets of bulk solids handling equipment,” stated the release

WAMGROUP purchased SAVI S.r.l located in Mantua, Italy, in 2013, and SAVI had selected Enviro-Care as its sales and engineering partner to introduce its headworks equipment into the North American Market several years ago, reported the release.

The collaboration established a technology transfer agreement in 2012, which permitted Enviro-Care to manufacture SAVI equipment in the U.S., continued the release.

“This acquisition was a very logical move for WAM and provides [the company] with immediate entry into the North American headworks market,” said Phil Thompson, president of the new Enviro-Care. “Our excellent rep force combined with the SAVI product line and WAM’s manufacturing expertise will make us an even stronger player in this market.”

Enviro-Care, a headworks company, supplies the wastewater industry with screening and solids/grit management equipment, noted the release.
