Tetra Tech wins Superfund contracts

The contracts are for technical and advisory services in Regions 4 and 5 for the U.S. EPA’s Superfund Technical Assessment and Response Team (START V).

PASADENA, CA, AUG 26, 2019 -- Tetra Tech Inc. has been awarded two five-year Superfund contracts worth $132 million combined. The contracts are for technical and advisory services in Regions 4 and 5 for the U.S. EPA’s Superfund Technical Assessment and Response Team (START V).

Tetra Tech will perform field surveys, contingency planning, Superfund and brownfields site assessments, human health and ecological risk assessments, data management and mapping, and training. The START program provides technical assistance to EPA related to emergency response and preparedness. In July, Tetra Tech secured a $72.5 million contract to help the EPA respond to hazardous releases and oil spills, primarily in Region 5.
