Singer Valve opens new factory in China and hires general manager

SURREY, BC — The new 20,000 sq ft. plant is located in Taicang Jaingsu Province, just North of Shanghai.

SURREY, BC — Singer Valve, a global manufacturer of control valves, has opened a new factory in China and hired Ms. Li Jun as general manager. 

“As we continue to sell into new global markets we need to expand our manufacturing in those regions, so that we can meet local demand efficiently and according to their specific needs,” said Andrew Taylor, president of Singer Valve.  

The new 20,000 sq ft. plant is located in Taicang Jaingsu Province, just North of Shanghai.  They are currently manufacturing Singer Control Valves between 2 and 8 inches and will be ramping up production over the next three years to meet market demands.

The manufacturing focus is on control valves for the water works and construction industry in China, Malaysia and the UAE.

As new general manager, Li Jun brings in-depth technical product knowledge and has been growing companies in Mainland China for 14 years.
