WQA hires Deutsch as its new director of communications

NAPERVILLE, Ill. — A seasoned communications professional, he will join WQA later this month.

NAPERVILLE, Ill. — As WQA works to raise public awareness about the water treatment industry, it is pleased to announce in a press release that Larry Deutsch has been hired to fill the new position of director of communications. 

Deutsch, a seasoned communications professional, will join WQA later this month.

According to the press release, the communications director position was recently created to focus more resources on reaching out to the public and to increase communication within the industry.

Deutsch has served as communications director for the Southwestern Electrical Cooperative, the Missouri Credit Union Association and Youth in Need.

He holds a Master of Arts in Nonprofit Management and a BA in Russian and Business Administration. 

As WQA director of communications, he will be responsible for strategy and delivery of all messaging including public relations, convention, program services and the website, added the press release.
