ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Ill. — Increased pollution in China has led to growing demand for water treatment products.

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Ill. — Residential water treatment provider RainSoft has announced a partnership with PHNIX, a China-based heat pump manufacturer, that will allow PHNIX to represent the RainSoft product line in China, according to an article on China Daily USA.

The partnership will allow RainSoft to respond to the growing demand for quality water in China, the release noted, and has been many months in the making.

"In the Chinese market, PHNIX has established themselves in the heat pump market. They have a very large distribution network that serves a customer demographic that is very close to RainSoft's customer demographics," said Andy Palframan, vice-president of RainSoft.

A rapid rise in environmental pollution has been a side effect of China's economic growth, the release reported, causing more Chinese consumers to be concerned about their water quality.

"Our products are…tested and certified for contaminant reduction claims," said Palframan.
