Marlo Incorporated promotes Steve LaMere to president and COO

RACINE, Wis. — LaMere has worked at Marlo since 1998 in various positions.

RACINE, Wis. — Marlo Incorporated has announced the promotion of Steve LaMere to the position of president and chief operating officer, effective Jan. 1, 2014, according to a press release.

Founded in 1973, Marlo Inc. is a manufacturer and marketer of water treatment equipment, noted the release.

LaMere began his employment at Marlo in 1998 as a project engineer and has progressed through the company becoming the director of sales in 2005, the release reported.

After earning his MBA from Marquette University, continued the release, he was promoted to vice president of operations in 2008. 

According to the release, LaMere will continue to be based out of the Racine, Wis. headquarters.
