34th International Activated Carbon Conference set for Sept. 23-24

CORAOPOLIS, Pa. — The conference, organized by PACS, has issued a call for papers by July 10.

CORAOPOLIS, Pa. — The 34th International Activated Carbon Conference will take place Sept. 23-24 in Pittsburgh, Pa.

The conference is organized by Professional Analytical and Consulting Services (PACS).

PACS has issued a call for papers for the conference, oral, poster and abstract-only, with a deadline of July 10.

Optional PACS short courses are provided in conjunction with the conference on Sept. 21-30, including: Activated Carbon Adsorption: Principles, Practices and Opportunities; Design, Operation, and Troubleshooting of Activated Carbon Liquid and Vapor Phase Systems; Selecting the Best Activated Carbon for a Specific Application; Pressure Swing Adsorption and other Cyclic Adsorption Processes and Applications; and Agglomeration Technologies for Particle Enlargement.

Conference events will include a conference dinner on Sept. 23, the Leadership Speaker Program and the Activated Carbon Hall of Fame Awards.
