EDINA, Minn. — The newly launched DW&PS, a manufacturer of sustainable separation and purification technology, has been awarded the R&D 100 award for the TEQUATIC™ PLUS Fine Particle Filter, an innovative solution that combines the power of continuous cleaning, cross-flow filtration with centrifugal separation and solids collection and treats difficult, high-solids water, according to a press release.

The filtration device offers a cost-effective resolution for wastewater treatment in multiple industry segments by helping to process an extensive array of difficult high-solids water, such as industrial wastewater treatment and reuse applications in pulp and paper, food and beverage, textiles and laundry markets, mobile water treatment systems, oil and gas applications and more, stated the release.

The TEQUATIC™ PLUS Fine Particle Filter delivers a water recovery of usually 99 percent or more by treating water containing a total suspended solids (TSS) up to 10,000 mg/L, even when oils, fats, greases and fibers are present and in variable conditions without constant plugging, continued the release.

“The R&D 100 Award is further validation that innovations like the TEQUATIC™ PLUS Filter are enhancing sustainability and helping lower operation costs for our industrial customers,” said Cedella Beazley, Business Unit Director for filtration at DW&PS.
