PULASKI, New York — HealthWay is a manufacturer of medical, residential, industrial and commercial air cleaners.

PULASKI, New York — First reported in Saudi Arabia in 2012, Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) is a viral respiratory illness caused by a coronavirus called MERS-CoV, and many people confirmed to have the illness developed severe respiratory illness, fever, cough and shortness of breath, with 30 percent of those infected reported to have died, according to a press release.

In July, World Health Organization (WHO) reported 827 lab-confirmed cases of MERS and 287 deaths, stated the release.

HealthWay, a manufacturer of medical, residential, industrial and commercial air cleaners has partnered with Shaikh Khalifa Medical City managed by the Cleveland Clinic, Al Gharbia Hospitals, Tawam Hospitals and Cancer facility, Shaikh Khalifa Hospital in Ajman and Ajman courts to supply the clean air for patients and visiting guests, continued the release.

Due to the similarities in water and air treatment, many water treatment dealers in the residential and light commercial markets are expanding their services to take advantage of the growing indoor air quality (IAQ) market.

“A successful infectious control strategy to protect health care workers as well as patients from respiratory infections in a health care facility relies on three key strategies: Improving indoor air quality: Eliminating the source, properly maintained ventilation and an effective high efficiency filtration system,” said HealthWay Vice President of Research and Development Al Rayyes.
