WWIF welcomes new vice president of marketing

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. — The Wishing Well International Foundation (WWIF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing safe, clean drinking water to developing areas.

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. — The Wishing Well International Foundation (WWIF) has named Mark G. Bertler as a member of its board of directors and vice president of marketing, according to a press release.

Bertler has more than 25 years of experience in the environmental, water and wastewater industries and has held senior executive positions with several Fortune 500 companies, stated the release.

He has both domestic and international experience in acquisitions, operations management, mergers, business analytics, strategic planning, business development, sales and marketing, continued the release.

The release reported that Bertler is the vice president of sales and marketing for HydroNovation, an emerging technology start-up, as well as the managing partner at Watermark Solutions, a business development and financial transaction advisory firm.

He will direct corporate relations and fundraising in his new role with WWIF, noted the release.

“We are pleased to have Mark working with us,” said WWIF Founder Guillermo Guzman. “His passion to help others and give back is perfectly aligned with our vision. With Mark’s help, we will step up our efforts to bring the entire industry together as well as expand our relations with non-industry companies. I look forward to working with him.”
