Icon Technology Systems appoints new director of technical services

ATLANTA — Icon Technology Systems’ eco3 filtration product line provides recyclable and eco-friendly solutions.

ATLANTA — Icon Technology Systems, manufacturer of the eco-friendly eco3 filtration product line, announced Tony Marino has been appointed to director of technical services for the U.S. market, according to a press release.

For more than 20 years, Marino has been an active member of the filtration and drinking water industry, stated the release.

He has extensive industry experience including residential and commercial point-of-use (POU) drinking water applications as well as light commercial and industrial water treatment applications, such as water softening, reverse osmosis (RO), various filtration applications and more, reported the release.

Marino has held regional positions for numerous industry manufacturers including Culligan/U.S. Filter, Cuno and Kinetico, continued the release.

He has achieved WQA certified water specialist CWS-1, IBWA certified plant operator and WQA certified installer, noted the release.

“We are pleased to welcome Tony to Icon,” said Icon CEO Matthew Lee. “Tony’s appointment underlines Icon's commitment to the U.S. water filtration market and marks a key step in supporting the initiative to bring water filtration into the 21st century.”
