Evoqua acquires Environmental Treatment Systems

Evoqua Water Technologies signed a definitive agreement to acquire privately held Environmental Treatment Systems Inc., a provider of engineered solutions to the industrial wastewater market based in Acworth, Georgia. Terms of the purchase by Evoqua were not disclosed. Environmental Treatment Systems’ industrial offerings serve the food processing, pulp and paper, poultry and meat processing, chemical, beverage, laundry, and textile industries. Their clients range from end users to consulting engineering firms, to equipment reps and contractors.

AdEdge Water Technologies and InNow, LLC create joint venture

AdEdge Water Technologies and InNow India Pvt. Ltd. announced a joint venture to provide innovative water treatment solutions for municipalities in India for the removal of arsenic, nitrate, radionuclides, and fluoride among other contaminants. The joint venture will operate under the name AdEdge India and will be based in Gurgaon, India. AdEdge India will capitalize on the strong reputation AdEdge has garnered over the last decade providing more than 700 successful water treatment solutions globally and InNow’s strong understanding of the marketplace and market needs in India.

AquaVenture Holdings announces completion of acquisition

Water treatment solutions company AquaVenture Holdings Limited announced its Seven Seas Water business has completed the acquisition of all the outstanding shares of Aguas de Bayovar S.A.C. and all the rights and obligations under a design and construction contract for a desalination plant and related infrastructure located in Peru.  The aggregate purchase price for the acquisition was approximately $46 million in cash.

OriginClear to designate Progressive Water Treatment its complete system manufacturer

OriginClear Inc., a provider of water treatment solutions, has designated its subsidiary, Progressive Water Treatment (PWT),  as its complete systems manufacturer. The decision comes on the heels of the completion of the company’s fourth field study to date, in Kern County, California.

With help from its longtime suppliers of membranes and other components, PWT is building a showcase trailer-based system that incorporates OriginClear’s patented Electro Water Separation™ (EWS) for a complete water treatment solution. Heron Instruments and Ambience Data announce partnership

Heron Instruments Inc., a water monitoring technology company based in Dundas, Ontario, has signed a partnership agreement with Ambience Data, a Toronto start-up with a focus on developing real-time solutions for big data in smart cities. Together, Heron Instruments and Ambience Data are developing a new line of smart water monitoring products to meet increasing demand for dependable data and analytics. These solutions will support municipal drinking water and wastewater utilities, industrial partners, and as well as groundwater and remediation professionals.
