Canadian firm BluMetric Environmental Inc. has been awarded a US$1.38 million contract to supply a Reverse Osmosis (RO) system to deliver high-quality process water at a new facility for a large diversified industrial chemicals producer in Peru.
The BluMetric Reverse Osmosis system will provide up to 3,000 m3/day of processed water. In March the company began delivery of five RO systems worth US$1.6 million for the construction, hospitality and energy businesses in Latin America.
Harry Marshall, president of the BluMetric Water Division, said: “This is the second large sales announcement in Latin America in this quarter, and the first commercial water system sale in Peru following our intensified marketing efforts in the region.”
