AODD pumps

Wilden® has announced the release of 430 and 830 Advanced™ FIT 316 stainless steel AODD pumps. Featuring superior corrosion resistance in aggressive chemical applications, the pumps have been specifically designed to serve as direct replacements for existing Wilden 38-mm (1-1/2") and 51-mm (2") advanced pump installations. The pumps feature superior flow rates and easy installation and fit bolt-to-bolt and pipe-to-pipe in existing fluid-handling piping systems to provide increased performance with no re-piping necessary.

Pump collection

Three 24-ft.-long vertical, centrifugal and thermoplastic pumps have been engineered and manufactured by Vanton Pump & Equipment Corp. to handle washdown fluid containing sulfuric acid. The pump columns are constructed of chlorinated polyvinyl chloride, while the hydraulic heads (casing, cover, impellers, screens, etc.) are made of injection molded polyvinylidene fluoride. Each pump is performance-tested before delivery to ensure that it complies not only with specified Conditions of Service but also at points above and below it.

Pressure-boosting system

The Grundfos Hydro MPC BoosterpaQ is a fully-integrated and compact pressure-boosting system that offers multiple configurations -- with up to six pumps in parallel -- to accommodate industrial applications. The new CU 352 intuitive graphical interface controller makes the system user-friendly, while ensuring efficient operation. Using actual pump-curve data, it helps to optimize energy consumption by controlling/staging the number of pumps in operation, as well as the speed of the individual pumps, in order to adjust the performance of the system to variations in demand.

After-treatment technology

BBA Pumps has released its RF-system for the PT150 wellpoint dewatering pumps. This after-treatment technology includes a VERT®-certified Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) and Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC). It is specially designed for use with small single-cylinder diesel driven pump sets with minimal engine load and low combustion temperatures. The compact dimensions of the DPF/DOC after-treatment system minimizes space requirements in the exhaust system and incorporates a number of features to ease installation and cleaning.

Rotary gear pumps

The 700-Series Rotary Gear Pumps from Clark Solutions are designed to provide quiet and efficient service at pressures to 2,000 PSI and flow rates to 5.0 GPM. Featuring a gasket-free design, the pumps transfer media at temperatures up to 250°F and, with optional modifications, to 500°F. Available in cast and ductile iron, all models can be ordered with foot or flange mounting. The gears, shafts and housing faces are machined to extremely tight tolerances, allowing them to provide better lift, reduced slippage and have a longer service life.
