CALGARY, Feb. 29, 2016 -- Larry Novachis, Chief Executive Officer at FilterBoxx Water & Environmental Corp. ("FilterBoxx" or "the Corporation") announces that FilterBoxx Packaged Water Solutions was awarded the contract to supply a 150,000 m3/yr (36,500,000 gal/yr) wastewater treatment and recycle plant for a major Pharmaceutical client. The Company is one of the world's largest medical device manufacturers, and is currently the world's 5th largest Pharmaceutical Company.
"With more and more facilities looking to drive production and cost efficiencies, infrastructure and utilities can often be a significant source of effective change and savings. The cost of water, wastewater and energy continue to increase on an annual basis without any sign of relief in sight" comments Novachis. "Our client on this project elected to take affirmative action and put operational cost control measures into their fiscal mandate. While they undertook several initiatives in this regard, one of them was to find a means to reduce the costs of wastewater disposal and fresh water supply through high end treatment and recycling" he adds.
Through innovative process design, this client will be able to significantly reduce operational costs relating to water supply and wastewater disposal while providing higher quality water to their cooling towers and gleaning increased process efficiency.
The FilterBoxx solution includes a skid based Ultrafiltration and Reverse Osmosis system that will ultimately treat and recycle over 75% of their wastewater. Good for the Client… Good for the Environment… Good for FilterBoxx!
