March 14, 2008 -- Mono NOV, Europe's leading designer and manufacturer of pumps, parts, grinders, screens and packaged systems, has won a new joint framework agreement with South West Water for the supply of high performance progressing cavity pumps and parts.
South West Water, which is part of the Pennon Group Plc, is responsible for maintaining and improving the region's environment and bathing waters, as well as making sure that its 1.6 million customers have reliable access to high quality drinking water and wastewater facilities.
Commenting on the new agreement, Mark Viner, UK sales manager for Mono, said: "Mono is a specialist in wastewater treatment applications. The right solution can play a key role in a treatment works considerably improving its efficiency, helping it to meet the objectives of the European Water Framework Directive, as well as the requirements of the forthcoming AMP 5 spending round.
