CORAL GABLES, FL, Dec. 9, 2014 -- Today, Gables Energy Partners, LLC, a North American energy technology company, announced the acquisition of the intellectual property and certain assets of Electrolytic Technologies Corporation (ETC) by their affiliate, ETC Chemicals, LLC. Terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed due to confidentiality agreement provisions.
ETC is a manufacturer of on-site chlorine gas and sodium hypochlorite (bleach) generation systems, based in North Miami Beach, Fla. ETC's products are designed to be used by industries concerned with water and wastewater treatment including municipalities, mining, oil & gas, chemical, and other industrial customers.
ETC's flagship product, Klorigen® is the only Chlor-alkali technology to have received designation by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as a Qualified Anti-Terrorism Technology, attesting to its inherent safety and reliability for the on-site production of chemicals for water treatment.
