FORT WORTH, TX, Aug. 9, 2012 -- GeoPure HydroTechnologies, LLC, an oilfield service company dedicated to recycling produced and flowback water, has received a permit from the Railroad Commission of Texas to operate its first GeoPure AdvancedHydro System ("G.A.S.") for mobile commercial operations throughout the State of Texas.

The company's GeoPure AdvancedHydro System active in the Barnett Shale in May 2012. GeoPure's proprietary technology is mobile, modular and capable of treating over 7,500 barrels of produced and flowback water daily.

The GeoPure AdvancedHydro System removes suspended solids, dissolved organics, metals, hydrocarbons, microorganisms, dissolved solids and other contaminants from the wastewater generated during oilfield operations, allowing for water reuse. Wastewater recycling reduces the fresh water required for oilfield operations such as hydraulic fracturing, commonly referred to as "fracking." Treating wastewater onsite also lowers trucking volumes and reduces the amount of wastewater that must be disposed of via deep well injection. In summary, GeoPure's services allow its customers to lower their impact on the environment while improving oilfield operations and economics.

"Receiving this permit to operate our mobile commercial system from the Railroad Commission of Texas is a significant milestone for GeoPure," stated Ryan Perras, Chief Executive Officer of GeoPure. "Our team has always believed in the importance of partnering not only with our exploration and production customers, but also with the regulatory agencies overseeing oilfield operations. GeoPure is now one of a small number of companies approved by the Railroad Commission to provide oilfield wastewater recycling services using mobile units here in the State of Texas."

GeoPure believes it is important to sustain domestic exploration and production activities, which provide valuable jobs and reduce the United States' dependence on foreign hydrocarbons. At the same time, the company understands the importance of preserving the environment and ensuring the availability of clean water for all. GeoPure believes that produced and flowback wastewater recycling is an essential bridge between these two important goals.

GeoPure AdvancedHydro Systems are proprietary technology developed in partnership with Advanced Hydro Inc. of Austin, Texas. Over the next two years, the two companies plan to launch between 10 and 15 additional G.A.S. units into the field, with an initial focus on liquids rich unconventional plays in Texas, such at the Eagle Ford and Permian Basin as well as other regions of the Southwest and Rockies.

"GeoPure would not be in this position without the hard work of the engineers at Advanced Hydro," said Robert Hayes, Chief Operating Officer of GeoPure. "We could not be more pleased with our partnership and look forward to working together to build our fleet of recycling systems over the next few years."

"We would also like thank the team at Kelly Hart & Hallman, LLP for its hard work and guidance through the regulatory process," Mr. Hayes added. "We submitted a very thorough application, which we believe sets the standard for obtaining future permits for mobile commercial systems. We look forward to continuing our close working relationship with the Railroad Commission to establish appropriate water reclamation guidelines."

"We believe the Hydrocarbon Exploration and Production Industry is on the brink of a water crisis, and wastewater recycling is the only logical solution," said Mr. Perras. "Our goal has always been to provide a mobile, flexible, economical and environmentally-friendly technology that improves our customer's operations while reducing the environmental impact of exploration and production activities."
