PARSIPPANY, NJ, July 7, 2006 -- The Hydraulic Institute (HI) announces that registration is now open for all HI members and prospective members for the 2006 VMA-HI Market Outlook Workshop focused on key valve and pump industry markets.
This year's workshop will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago on Aug. 24-25, 2006. The workshop, organized by the Valve Manufacturers Association and co-sponsored by the Hydraulic Institute, will feature some of the best industry and economic experts discussing trends in a broad spectrum of marketplaces and economies. Trends in the following major markets will be addressed:
• Water/wastewater
• Pulp and paper
• Power
• Oil and gas
• Nuclear
• Hydrocarbon processing
• Construction
• Chemical and refining
Additional economic and market presentations will be provided covering the Wall Street perspective, international economic outlook and China. A total of twelve (12) speakers will be addressing attendees during the day and a half conference.
