• Pinedale Anticline facility in Wyoming continues to set a benchmark for the oil and gas industry
DENVER, CO, May 18, 2010 -- High Sierra Water Services, a leading flowback and produced water treatment specialist, announced today that its flagship Anticline facility has surpassed 22 million barrels (924 million gallons) of water treated. The facility, which is located on the Pinedale Anticline in Wyoming, provides water treatment services for oil/gas companies located in the surrounding area.
The Anticline facility is capable of processing up to 60,000 barrels per day (2.5 million gallons) for frac recycle and up to 20,000 barrels per day (840,000 gallons) for discharge. Currently, frac and produced water is being treated to a better-than-drinking-water standard and approximately 1.5 million barrels (63 million gallons) have been discharged into the New Fork River, part of the Colorado River system.
