JWC Environmental appoints new president

Greg Guard will lead the company as JWC expands into new international markets.

SANTA ANA, CA, SEPT 11, 2018 -- JWC Environmental (JWC), a world leader in wastewater solids reduction and removal equipment, announced the appointment of Greg Guard as the president of JWC Environmental business. He will lead the company as JWC expands into new international markets through the synergies with the Sulzer sales channels, while ensuring that our customers continue to benefit from best in class service, quality, and cutting-edge technology. Greg will report to Clive Patten, head of Business Unit Water within the Sulzer Pumps and Equipment division.

Guard joined JWC in 2012 to lead the newly created industrial business group and took on responsibility for JWC's municipal sales in North and South America in 2013. In 2016, Guard was promoted to senior vice president of sales and assumed responsibility for the entirety of JWC's global sales. Prior to working with JWC, Guard held leadership positions in sales and marketing with Waste Management, WasteQuip and ThermoFluids.

Guard will be succeeding Ken Biele who has led the company to record growth over the last 5 years. Biele has decided it is the right time to take up a new challenge outside of JWC and Sulzer. JWC wishes him well in his new role thank him for his leadership through the recent integration of JWC into Sulzer.
