Water Infrastructure and Innovation Expo to be held April 9 in Washington

WASHINGTON — The Expo is part of Water Week 2014, April 7-11, organized by NACWA, WEF and WERF.

WASHINGTON — The upcoming Water Infrastructure & Innovation Expo that will be held April 9 in Washington will demonstrate moving water innovation into practice, according to a press release.

Celebrating the best in progressive solutions and cutting-edge technologies, the Expo will feature a select group of leading water sector companies who are setting new standards in water ingenuity and sustainable approaches to water management, noted the release.

Organized by the National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA), the Water Environment Federation (WEF) and the Water Environment Research Foundation (WERF), reported the release, the Expo is one of several notable events of the inaugural Water Week 2014 that will be held April 7-11.

The Expo is a unique opportunity to bring clean water advocacy, education and innovation to Capitol Hill by connecting hundreds of water and wastewater professionals from across the country with their local, state and national representatives, continued the release, with the goal to inform and inspire these key decision-makers about the considerable value of water and its vital importance to public health, the environment, job creation and a strong economy.

According to the release, to date the following companies have been confirmed to provide first-hand knowledge about the latest solutions to America's most pressing water challenges at the Expo: Danfoss, DC Water, Imagine H20, GE Water & Process Technologies, Optimatics, Pave Drain, Wellintel and Xylem.
