FORSYTH COUNTY Ga. — After nearly two days of being stuck in a storage pond at the wastewater treatment plant at Fowler Park, a deer was helped out by Forsyth County, Ga. fire and animal control, according to the Gainesville Times.
Fire Division Chief Jason Shivers said the doe may have fallen down the angled walls of the pond at the treatment plant.

“There is no telling why she came out here,” Shivers said.
The deer was spotted in the pond on Dec. 31 and employees hoped she would find her way out, noted the article.
When she was still stuck in the pond on Jan. 2 they decided it was time to call the authorities.

It took almost two hours for eight employees from the fire department and two animal control officers to pull the deer out of the reject storage pond, stated the article.
